Rox Resources is a West Australian mining company located just north-east of Perth. Just a short flight will take you to our Youanmi Gold Mine where we are in the midst of transforming an old underground gold mine into a highly specialised and high-grade gold producer.

As our Graduate Mining Engineer, you’ll gain exposure to every stage of underground mining, from planning future stopes and analysing production data to spending time underground learning how a modern gold mine operates. You will play a hands-on role while building the technical skills and practical experience needed to become a successful mining engineer.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Help design and schedule future mining activities for our underground mine
  • Work alongside our small and experienced team of mining engineers.
  • Collaborate with Geologists, Surveyors and Operations teams to solve real-world challenges.
  • Assist with drill and blast planning and production activities.
  • Analyse mine performance data and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Contribute to projects that improve safety, productivity and efficiency
  • Work withing a growing team and help shape the future of the Youanmi Gold Mine

Essential to Have:

  • Bachelor of Engineering (Mining Engineering) or expected completion within 2026
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to work an 8:6 Roster and work underground
  • A genuine interest in developing a career in mining
  • Current ‘C’ Class Driver’s Licence
  • Readiness to commence late 2026 or early 2027
